olga.fi: Finnish Gymnastics Federation is looking for Olympic coach for Finnish national senior group in rhythmic gymnastics. The Finnish Gymnastics Federation is one of the largest sports federations in Finland with its clubs having 122 000 members. The head office is located in Helsinki and has 30 full-time staff members. Finnish Gymnastics Federation has decided to focus on rhythmic gymnastics national senior group activities, with the goal of qualifying for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil. Our national senior group is training in Helsinki and in Kisakallio Sports Institute, located 50 km from Helsinki. We are now searching for a coach, who will be working closely with the current head coach and the national guidelines for training. *Key responsibilities will include: - Work on daily basis with national senior group in close cooperation with the current head coach; - Being part of the Federation’s Coaching Team to develop the national coaching system, including the planning and running of the national training camps for younger group gymnasts and developing the coaches’ education programme. Supervisor and partner for this work will be Finnish Gymnastics Federation’s RG Technical Director. * The successful candidate will be required to have: - Experience in working with the high level rhythmic gymnastics group; -Passion to work in high international level rhythmic gymnastics and knowledge of necessary requirements; -Excellent team working skills and interest to develop Finnish rhythmic gymnastics and national coaching system; - Positive and professional attitude; -Willingness to travel and work in national training camps with junior and younger group gymnasts - Good knowledge of English will be an advantage The start of the job is subject to an agreement and it will include a probationary period of three (3) months.
